2 months

Eliza is 2 months old!

Here are her 2 month stats:

Weight: 11 lbs, 15 oz (65th percentile)
Height: 22 3/4 in (63rd percentile)
Head Cir: 15.5 in (82nd percentile)

This girl is such a cutie! She smiles all the time now and we all love it so much! Even Joshua. When he notices Eliza smiling he'll say, "Mom!! Baby's smiling at me!" Eliza gets lots of attention from all her siblings. She takes all the touching pretty well, though when she's tired she wants her own space.

Eliza is wearing 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers. She eats about 7 or 8 times in a 24 hour period. She usually gets up 2 or 3 times in the night to eat. She will occasionally take a while to fall back into a deep sleep if it's her second or third feeding, but she rarely cries during the night. She is the least fussy baby of all my babies, though she definitely has her moments. She is the crankiest when she's tired. She doesn't like to sleep on the go, and she's often pulled from her swing (where she usually sleeps) during a nap to get into the car to take a sibling somewhere or pick one of them up... so we've all heard more than our fair share of Eliza screaming in the car.

This month Eliza has started spitting up SO much. It's not after every feeding, but definitely more than half of them. I go through burp cloths like crazy, and have even pulled out some dish towels to use as well since I go through burp cloths so fast. She's still gaining plenty of weight and the doctor says it shouldn't be a problem and that she should grow out of it.

Eliza now dislikes tummy time and would much prefer to be on her back. She likes when people talk to her and she also likes her play mat. She has just started to really notice the toys hanging above her play mat and has looked like she was trying to swat at them a couple times.

She still loves the bath and will often smile the whole time she is in there. She's not very happy when I pull her out, though if I get her wrapped up in the towel lightning fast and keep her from getting cold then she won't cry about it.

She still sleeps swaddled up and with a binky. She is still in our room at night. She is starting to prefer to be held facing out so that she can see what's going on.

She'll be going on her first airplane ride next week to Texas to visit Grandma and Papa. We are excited!
